Elk Mountain Construction has been making lots of progress our water tank expansion project. The temporary tank is in place and the ground for the new tank is being prepared. A concrete foundation for the new tank is scheduled to begin pouring soon.
Pacific Power has surveyed the site for the upcoming power line relocation since the current lines will interfere with the taller tank and installation equipment. During the relocation, power will need to be shut off for approximately half a day for residents up the hill from the water plant. Pacific Power has indicated they will provide advance notice so everyone has time to prepare. We’re hopeful the weather cooperates in our region to allow Pacific Power’s crews to complete our project and avoid any interruptions for our contractor’s efforts.

We’ll continue to share updates as work progresses and appreciate everyone’s support as this important project moves forward.
